QUARANTINE UPDATE : There's a New Art Vlog on My YouTube Channel!
Hello there!
We've got about 10 more days to go before we get into the final month of this year. I seriously never thought that things would be SO different by 2020. This was not how imagined were I would be in life a year ago. I still don't understand why a lot of unfortunate things happened, not just to me, but to everyone. But I know that one day, this would all make sense. I am really having a tough time coping with this world crisis, but at the same time, I am trying my best to survive even just one day at a time.
One thing I like to do to clear my head and forget about the pandemic is to PAINT. If you've been reading my blog for quite some time, you would know that I picked up this new hobby shortly after my grandfather's death in 2017. That time, it was all I could hold on to - I considered it my way of grieving. And it helped me...A LOT! Though I'm no longer at that horrible stage of grieving, I still continue to paint because it helps me get through my day to day life. It's just SO therapeutic!
If you've been thinking about a new hobby that you can start while we are in quarantine, I hope that you can give WATERCOLOR PAINTING a shot. I'm actually working on a project that hopefully I can launch soon. It's going to be beginner-friendly and it doesn't matter at all if you've never tried painting before, or if you're naturally drawn to arts but you've always been too scared to try any medium. Making art, for me, is the only thing wherein I don't feel like I would be judged, and even if I do, I simply don't care, because I'm all about the therapeutic effect that it gives me. I have zero care about the negative comments that people have about my finished artworks. But of course, I highly appreciate the ones who can appreciate them and say nice things about them.
For now, I'm spending a lot of time honing my skills and continuously finding decent materials that won't cost an arm and a leg to those who would be interested to try watercolor painting. I actually made another art vlog on my YouTube channel, and I would really appreciate if you can watch it, leave a comment and share it with other art lovers.
Let me know in the comment section down below if you're interested to know more about my project. You can send me an email as well if you have any questions about watercolor painting!
'Til next time!
xoxo
